In 2007 Nike Considered, a division of Nike, integrated into Nike ACG (All Conditions Gear). Their original focus was to produce products that are more sustainable from start of design, all the way through to finish product production. They also had a slightly different focus what the final product would be used for, and what it would offer the user. According to the designers, they are looking at a younger mindset and “want to target those who are more focused on having fun in the outdoors.” The integration of Considered into ACG is the first step in designing all shoes in the line with the Considered approach.
We at Trainers Skateboarding are proud to be apart of the Nike ACG range products. They are superior in quality, very durable ensuring that the path of discovery is available to any one, and in style and comfort. The first addition to the range is the Nike Lunar Braata Mid OMS. Strong leather upper to keep moisture out, this shoe also feature Nike’s Lunarlon Cushioning system with dynamic support, to guarantee each stride is supported correctly, and that it will last as all Nike ACG aims to do.
The Second shoe we’ve added to the collection is the Nike Alder Low. This shoe features a blend of a materials. The upper toe area consist of a strong leather, with a rubber toe cap for protection. The rest of the upper is made up of a synthetic blend of materials that are light weight a rip/tear resistant to avoid damage. Firm cushioning adds to the stability of the and it also features a plastic “trailframe” insert in the middle of the foot for added torsion control, to ensure the shoe keeps its shape even on the roughest terrains. The outer sole is a strong rubber that is very durable.
