The ‘Subway Series’ of 2000 pitted both New York MLB Teams, the Yankees and the Mets against one another in the World Series. Dubbed “Subway Series” all venues where these games have been played through MLB history have all been accessible by the underground New York City subway system. The 2000 Subway Series saw the Yankees win 4 games to 1 against the Mets, winning their third consecutive championship.
